6. Study Tips Wouldn’t it be great to get paid for studying, even if it was minimum wage? “ Hey, where do you work?” “ Oh, I study. The pay is great! Not only do I get paid ＄ 5.50 an hour, but I get smarter too!” 　　Yeah right! That would only happen in our dreams (if you dream about that sort of thing). The only payment we receive when we study is the grade that we get in return, whether it be good or bad. Studying is a fact of life. We have to do it and it takes up1 most of our time. If it doesn’t take up most of your time, then you are obviously one of the privileged, the naturally smart.For the rest of the not so privileged2 students, I would like to share3 with you a few study tips. 　　Re-write Your Notes. The first study tip that I would like to tell you about is writing your notes over. Now I know you are thinking to yourself, “ Is she crazy? I spent an hour already writing them once, and once is enough!” Yes, I know you already have cramps4 in your fingers from writing your notes, but writing them a second time will implant5 the information in your brain. This will enable you to recall more of the “ stuff 6 ” that you need to know much easier because you would have written and seen the notes twice. 　　Make And Use Flashcards7.Flashcards are a very big help when you have to memorize a lot of information such as definitions and even what certain pictures are. The only downfall8 to the flashcards is that you have to personally make them and use them, and this takes time. Believe me, it is worth it though. 　　Study In A Pack9. Studying can be fun, but only when you do it with people you like. Having a study group will help you understand information from different interpretations10 other than the teacher’s “ over-your-head” interpretations. This type of studying will also keep you motivated because you know that there are other people who need to study and those other people are your friends. 　　Let’s face it: studying is one of our least favorite things, but to have good grades, you have to sacrifice some time. I believe that these ways of studying will help “ ease the pain.” There are many ways to study, but I found that these study tips benefited me the most. If they do not work for you, try other ways to study. 學習竅門 能從學習中獲得報酬，即便是最低的工資,這難道不好嗎?“嘿，你在哪里工作！”“哦 ，我學習。報酬不錯，不僅每小時掙5.5美元，而且我還變得更聰明。” 　　這好極了！但這只可能發(fā)生在我們的夢里（如果你夢想這種事情）。我們從學習中 得到的惟一回報是成績，無論它是好還是差。學習是一種生活現(xiàn)實。我們必須學習，學 習占去我們大部分時間。如果學習不會占去你大部分時間，那么顯然你就是一個有特殊 天賦、生來就聰明的人。對于那些沒那么得天獨厚的學生，我愿與大家共享一些學習的 竅門。 　　重寫你的筆記。我想告訴你的第一個學習技巧，是從頭到尾再寫一遍你的筆記。我 知道你在想：“她是不是瘋了？我已經(jīng)花了一小時寫了一遍，一遍就夠了！”不錯，我知 道寫筆記已使你手指發(fā)酸了，但第二次抄寫筆記會將信息輸入到你的腦中。這會使你更 容易記住更多你需要記住的“東西”，因為你已經(jīng)寫了兩次，看了兩次。 　　制作和使用抽認卡。當你必須記住諸如各種定義甚至某些圖示等大量信息時，抽認 卡很有幫助。抽認卡的惟一缺點是你必須親自制作并使用它們，而這需要時間。盡管如 此，請相信我，這樣做是值得的。 　　結伴學習。學習可能是一種樂趣，但只有當你與你所喜歡的人一起學習時，才會有 樂趣。在一個學習小組中學習，會幫助你對信息的理解，除了老師的那些“費解”的解釋 之外，還有各種不同的解釋。這種方式還會使你保持學習的積極性，因為你知道還有其 他一些人需要學習，而這些人又是你的朋友。 　　讓我們面對這樣一個事實：學習是我們最不喜歡的事情之一，但為了取得好成績， 你必須犧牲一些時間。我相信這些學習方法將有助于你“減輕痛苦”。有許多學習方法， 但我發(fā)現(xiàn)這些方法使我受益最大。如果它們不適合你，可嘗試其他方法。 1.takeup占去(地方、時間、注意力等) 2.privileged[5πρΙπΙλΙδ
